Peter Smith is a professor of Soils and Global Change at the University of Aberdeen and has been deeply involved in the UN COP conferences for over 20 years. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology, a Fellow of the Institute of Soil Scientists, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, a Foreign Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy, a Fellow of the European Science Academy, and a Fellow of the Royal Society.

He is involved at UK and international levels with how climate change affects our soils and food security, and biodiversity. Can we use nature-based solutions to ameliorate the impacts caused by climate change and current practices? Come to the talk and find out.
