Gorse clearance with Butterfly Conservation

Butterfly Conservation will be working to remove gorse scrub to benefit the colony of Northern Brown Argus butterfly in the glen. We will be using hand tools such as saws, loppers and tree poppers to remove the scrub. Full instruction will be provided.

Start: 10am meet at Little Ballo woodland parking area (NO269348, DD2 5PD, what three words - captions.imported.smothered)

Finish: around 3pm

After meeting we'll walk through the woods towards the work site. It's about a 15 minute walk to the slope where we'll be working.

Bring lunch with something to drink and wear old clothes and good sturdy footwear. If you have them, please bring decent work gloves. Be prepared for cold conditions and bring warm hat, fleece etc..
