Tayside Wildlife Recorders’ Day

24th September, 2022 | 10:00 - 24th September, 2022 | 16:30

Perth Museum & Art Gallery 78 George Street Perth PH1 5LB | Donations welcome, but are not essential

This annual event brings together complete beginners in wildlife recording (and that means counting bumblebees in your garden or park) and experienced wildlife enthusiasts who focus on one species or habitat. There is room for all!

This year’s get-together will include talks about beavers, butterflies and bats, moths, urban flora and dragonflies - and much more besides. We will also hear from the National Biodiversity Network and how a rewilding project near Luncarty is monitoring and recording its wildlife.

Whatever your level of interest, this event will show how you can get involved to help your local wildlife. Everyone welcome.

As this is our first Recorders' Day in person since Covid, all refreshments and a simple sandwich lunch (with vegan and veggie options) will be provided to attendees. This will give more time for us to network or explore the museum during the break. If you need to cancel your confirmed booking nearer the time, please let us know so that we can cancel your lunch too.

Donations would be welcome, but are not essential. If you need to contact us outwith Eventbrite, please email [email protected].
