Winter Pond Volunteering

1st March, 2022 - 29th March, 2022

Perthshire | Free

Tayside Biodiversity Partnership urgently need help with practical work on some park ponds and Sustainable Urban Drainage (SuDS) ponds this winter. We will be clearing excessive plant life in most of the sites and making each pond safe for hedgehogs and welcoming to amphibians and invertebrates. We will also be planting native plants to enhance each site for wildlife.

There are several opportunities to get involved at different dates and locations:

1st March - The Glebe, Abernethy SuDS

6th March - Norrie Miller park pond, Perth

8th March - North Inch (North Muirton) SuDS, Perth

12th March - Murthly SuDS

15th March - Bertha Park SuDS, Perth

16th March - Davie Park pond, Blairgowrie

22nd March - Elm Drive SuDS, Blairgowrie

27th March - Scone Park pond, Scone

29th March - Craighall SuDS, Blairgowrie
