The Big PKC Energy Event – A Day of Action on Energy and Sustainability
Perth & Kinross Council’s Climate Change Team recently hosted The Big PKC Energy Event – a flagship public engagement day packed with inspiration and practical advice. The event brought together expert speakers, interactive workshops, and 19 stallholders to help attendees explore real-world ways to save energy, cut costs, and live more sustainably. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success!

What was The Big PKC Energy Event?
A community-focused event designed to connect people with energy-saving solutions, local services, and expert advice.

Who attended?
Everyone was welcome! Whether a homeowner, tenant, business owner, or simply curious about energy, there was something for everyone.

Was there support for energy bills or home improvements?
Yes – stalls and workshops offered guidance on grants, funding, and support schemes like ECO4 and Warmer Homes Scotland.

Was the venue accessible?
Yes – the Civic Hall was wheelchair accessible. Large print and screen-reader friendly materials were available. Attendees were encouraged to contact us in advance for any specific needs.
